Shangri-La Hotel, Nanchang Presents Authentic Rice Dumplings for the Dragon Boat Festival Celebration 

 

Nanchang, May, 2017 -  Shangri-La Hotel, Nanchang welcomes the 2017 Dragon Boat Festival with five tempting rice dumpling creations to satisfy the guests’ taste buds with well-selected ingredients and a secret recipe.  In addition, the hotel showcases four selections of assorted rice dumpling hampers, which are the perfect gifts for family and friends. 

 

In addition to the special variants recommended with seasonal greetings for the festival by the hotel’s executive sous chef, Mr. Tommy Wang, the hotel presents a new creation – Spicy Crayfish Rice Dumpling.  Inspired by the China’s Sichuan dish of Spicy Crayfish, Chef Tommy fills a traditional rice dumpling with hot crayfish, enhancing the aroma and flavour with spiciness.
